Project Nightshade is a prototype reporting tool designed for Microsoft. Its goal is to enable content owners and advertisers the ability to leverage the data collected on various Microsoft video platforms such as Zune.net. It was created in MSFT Expression and delivered to run on MSFT Silverlight.
Talkback enables users to record themselves and edit video to create a “soap box” like experience where their opinions can be heard by the masses. Still under development, its primary platform will be Flash.
The Zune Card 2.0 was designed for Microsoft’s Zune.net as a shareable media. Customizable by uses, it allows them to share their personal play list with their Zune Social friends. It was designed to be developed in Flash.
The 2008 Flashforward conference was held in San Francisco and centered on a single track of guest speakers. The goal of this project was to create a visual system for all promotional material, set decoration and other types branded experiences for this years event.
Home Depot “Advanced Product Knowledge” is an e-learning application used to educate in store employees. APK was developed on a Flash platform and deployed over Home Depot’s intranet. The direction for the UI was to be engaging and playful. An illustrative style using a pastel color pallet with subtle sepia tones was applied throughout.
Microsoft’s Digital Forum is a B2B video community site where MSFT business partners can create and share video. It was designed entirely in MSFT Expression Design for ease of translation to Silverlight.
Project Web Galleries is a template service offered by Microsoft to give users of their Expression Media a variety of interface templates. The direction from the client here was antique “Goth.”
Kite Applications desired a prototype application to communicate their social network theories. Part of that application was to visualize the Kite models and Flash was chosen for the rapid prototype and desired interaction.
